A guided tour of the National Library building, an important milestone in Israeli architecture which is considered a masterpiece of the International Style in Jerusalem, as well as a leading example of the public architecture of its time. The building was designed as a rectangular edifice placed on pillars (inspired by Le Corbusier) and characterized by simple, clear lines.

 


The tour will include visits to the readings rooms, the inner courtyards and the outer halls. The tour will also feature presentations on the new Library building currently being built across from the Knesset.

 

The tour is limited to the first 25 people to arrive.
