"I request to be accepted to the University, I am a refugee": Student Applications Submitted to the Hebrew University on the Eve of the 2nd World War

The discussion will focus on applications by young European Jews to be accepted to the Hebrew University on the eve of the 2nd World War and the importance of these applications in the historical research of the period. The applications are being displayed to the public for the first time in the context of the exhibition. Historian Dr. Marcus Zilber will discuss the subject with Bilha Shilo and Yael Levi, PhD students at the Hebrew University and scholars involved in the exhibition.
Following the discussion there will be a tour of the exhibition led by the curators.
