In this talk, Roly Keating sets out the British Library’s ambitious vision for its future development as it looks ahead to 2023, the year of its 50th anniversary as the national library of the United Kingdom.
In a context of rapid and profound change in technology and society, he will explore how the Library delivers public value – in custodianship, research, business, culture, learning and international partnership – and the challenges it faces in fulfilling its mission to make its collections accessible to everyone, for research, inspiration and enjoyment.
