"Carmel-Jerusalem" Publishing has recently
released a new book about musician
Gary Bertini. The book attempts to outline the character and work of the conductor, musician, composer, and teacher. After his death in 2005, Bertini's family donated his collection of original music composed for the theater to the National Library's Music Department. This collection joins the existing collection of Bertini's manuscripts that were donated by the Department of Culture of the Histadrut.
The book was written by musicologist Michal Zmora-Cohen, and includes various articles by leading musical figures in Israel.
