The song Tsena Tsena was composed by Issachar Meron in 1941. The lyrics are by Yehiel Hagiz. Thanks in part to a slightly different arrangement from the 1950s, Tsena Tsena has become one of the best-known Hebrew songs in the world. There are many recordings of Tsena Tsena, from both Israel and elsewhere. The link below is to a recording from the Voice of Israel's collection, featuring Tovya Levy accompanied by harmonica and orchestra.
