The King of France had three daughters- one embroidered, one sewed and the third wove. During her work, the youngest daughter fell asleep and mother became angry at her. In the continuation of the romansa, the daughter tells her mother about her dream and her mother interprets it as a blessing for her coming marriage.

Only a fragment of the romansa is sung. It stands to reason that this song was adopted from the Balkan regions since no ancient Spanish source can be found.
