The National Library has purchased a rare collection of 39 Portuguese auto da fé sermons, printed between the years 1618-1727.
Appearing during the years 1943-1995, it served as the mouthpiece of Mapam, the radical left Zionist party and its Kibuzim movement. Among the writers for the newspaper were prominent intellectuals and literary figures, such as the poets Leah Goldberg (1911-1970) and Avraham Shlonsky (1900-1973).
This is the twenty-eighth serial publication to be added to the Jewish Historical newspapers website.
