Agi Mishol is an Israeli poet and creative writing teacher at various institutions including Tel Aviv University. She is currently the director of the Helicon poetry school in Tel Aviv.
She has published sixteen volumes of poetry, with many of her poems set to music and adapted into theatrical works. Her poems have been translated into several languages.
She has received various prestigious awards including the Prime Minister’s Prize (1995), the Yehuda Amichai Prize (2002), the Dulitzky Prize and was awarded Doctor Philosophiae Honoris Causa this year by Tel Aviv University.
