1. To map the Jewish heritage archives in Israel, reflecting every ethnicity and stream, to improve their condition and accessibility to the public, to salvage endangered archival material, and to raise public awareness regarding national heritage treasures.
2. To create a national network of heritage archives, consisting mainly of a unified online catalogue with free, open access for scholars and any other person interested in archival material about the history of the State of Israel and Israeli society.
3. The project's vision is to ultimately enable all of the hundreds of archives in Israel to be connected in a single network with unified and joint public access to their catalogues and archival material.
4. To present the public with a large information base of archival material from selected archives, which will bring together selected collections documenting Israeli heritage, preserving it, and making it accessible for generations to come.
