Front Text - אליהו מידאנוק חי משנת תרמ'א - תרס'ד. נולד בעירה איליונצי (פלך קיוב). היה מספר בעל כשרון נפלא. הצטיין בהסתכלות חדה וסגנונו חי ועשיר. בשנת העשרים ושלש לימי חייו אבד עצמו לדעת ע'י סם-אופיום. ספריו המצוינים הם: 'הקבצן 'העור', עונג שבת' 'חמץ' ועוד אחרים. בהוצאת 'חובבי ספרות' באודסא יצאו כתביו בקובץ אחד. VERLAG HATCHIA;Text on the back -17. Verlags-Buchhandlung A. Robinsohn Stanislau Galizien.;Production period - After 1908;Category - Intellectuals;Description - A vertical postcard of Eliyahu Meidanek (1881/1882-1904), a writer, who published some stories in 'Der Jude', 'Hazfira' and more. Meidanek comitted suiside in 1904, after the Kishinev pogrom in 1903. The photo of the author appears on the left top in eliptic white background. It is surrounded by white roses and stalks of unidentified plants. On the left bottom are three books and on top of them are an inkwell and a feather. On the right top is a stringed instrument. On the right bottom is a scroll shape in which is written the writer's biography in Hebrew. [E.B.];Back Description - A devided postcard.
