Production period - ca. 1910;founders, architects, painters etc. - Jacob Keller;Category - Zionist scenes and symbols;Description - This horizontal postcard shows the Israeli flag with the portraits of Herzl and Nordau. On a yellow back ground an Israeli white and blue flag is placed. The star of David in it's center encloses the Hebrew word ציון . On both sides of the star are yellow oval vignette frames adorned with crowns at the top. At the left frame a portrait of Theodor Herzl (1860-1904) with the Yiddish writing ד"ר הערצל under it. At the right one is a Portrait of Max Nordau (1849-1923) with the Yiddish writing ד"ר מאקס נארדוי under it. The flag itself is connected to a pole with a star of David at it's top and decorated with rope tassels.
