Front Text - יהודה שטיינבערג. נולד ז' אדר תרכ'ב בעיר ליפקני (בסרביה), מת באודיסה ז' אדר ב' תרס'ח.ממשל ומספר חריף. דמיונו - קל המעוף עד להפליא. אגדותיו וספוריו לילדים הם היותר מצוינים שבספרות העברית. כתב משלים, ספורים, אגדות וציורים למאות הסגנון קל וגמיש. מלבד 'ביער ובעיר' קבץ משליו, ראשונים במעלה הם: 'אב ובנו', 'בימים ההם', 'שולמית', 'הפרדס הנפלא', 'אבני ברקות', 'ספורי חסידים'. VERLAG HATCHIJAH;Production period - 1st quarter of 20th century;Category - Portraits;Description - A vertical postcard of Judah Steinberg (1863-1908), Born in Lipcani, Bessarabia and died in Odessa. He was a writer and a fable teller. The photo of the author appears on the middle top in eliptic white background. It is surrounded by white roses and stalks of grain. On the left bottom are two books and on top of them are an inkwell and a feather and a stringed instrument. On the right bottom is a scroll shape in which is written the writer's biography in Hebrew. [E.B.];Back Description - A divided back. On the right corner is a place for a stamp.
