New York Printed in Germany;Production period - 1st quarter of 20th century;Front Period - 1st quarter of 20th century;Category - Everyday life;Description - This vertical postcard depicts a drawing (or perhaps a painted photograph) of a woman riding a bicycle with a Shana Tova Card. In the center of the image appears a young woman in a long brown skirt with a high waste and white blouse with red and black dots and a large collar. The woman has long, let down hair and she sits on one side of the bicycle. One of her hands is on the wheel, while in the other she holds a decorated card with the words לשנה טובה on it. The bicycle stands on a road sown with fallen leave and behind it is a park with trees, grass and statues. In the top left corner appears a 4 line poem in Yiddish on a white back ground and under it the Hebrew words לשנה טובה תכתבו. In the top right corner appear the words A happy New Year! [A. R.]
