Text on the back -KRIEGSROHSTOFFSTELLE WARSCHAU BRIEFSTEMPEL ZWEISSTELLE LODZ lODZ 21.8.16 4-5N;Production period - before 21/8/1916;Front Period - before 21/8/1916;Category - Public buildings;Description - A vertical postcard in which the photographis less then half page large. The left space apparently for writtem messages is left blank. In the postcard image a large gathering of people mostly men in front of a building. At the doors of he building a sign in german, inscribed Weawers registrationoffice At the next buildingabove a three winged entrancea russian signboard. At the left bottom corner pencil handwritten Lodz 21/8/16probably by collector.;Back Description - A divided postcard withprinted dividing line and lines for receiver's adress on the right half. There are two rounddouble lined post office marks, onepurple colored in the middle and one black in the upper partof the right half. On both sides of the dividing line pencil handwritten texts.;Back Handwritten Text - [...];Post office marks Origin - Germany (Country), Lodz (City);Post office marks Languages Of Text - German;Post office marks Description - Two round post office marks. One purple colored double lined . On it's circumference is stamped KRIEGSROHSTOFFSTELLE WARSCHAU ZWEISSTELLE LODZ and in the middle BRIEFSTEMPEL The second post office mark is balck double lined, in it stamped Lodz and date 21.8.16 4-5N. Two? five pointed stars and a letter at the bottom part.
