The angel is a woman in a long white dress with large wings on her back and long brown hair. She holds hands with a little girl dressed in a yellow dress and striped socks. Behind the girl stands an even younger boy in a red suit with a dotted kerchief on his neck and a blue cap on his head. He holds a basket with flowers in it. These characters seem to be standing on the bank of a lake or river among rocks and flowers. In the background is a dark cloudy sky. At the top appear the words לשנה טובה. At the bottom appears a two verse text in Yiddish and the words A happy new Year. [A.R.]
