The one floor houses made of mud and straw roofs. The only building with second floor is the building at the back - 'Jordan Hotel'. At the back the Jordan Valley mountains. The title refers the new city of Jericho in difference to the archaeological city. Jericho is a town near the Jordan River. Its name may be derived from the word meaning 'moon' in Hebrew and Canaanite, as the city was an early center of worship for lunar deities.
