They are standing outside in two horizontal rows, facing forward. They hold a kind of stake which is used for coordinating several movements. They are similarly dressed with the school's uniform and wear the traditional fez (red felt hat in the shape of a truncated cone). The teacher is standing on the right and looks at them.
