Requesting Manuscripts from the National Library : Terms and Conditions

I hereby agree:

 

1​. Permission is granted for personal use only.
2​. The images may be used by the applicant alone and may not be transferred to another party without permission of The National Library of Israel.
3.​ Not to publish in any form whatsoever the material requested by the applicant, either all or in part, without first obtaining written permission from the Manuscripts Department.
4.​ That every publication that may ensue will acknowledge The National Library of Israel, Jerusalem as manuscript owner and display the manuscript shelf and film number.
5.​ That two copies of every such publication shall be presented to the Manuscripts Department. If the publication is a book printed in Israel, there is an additional requirement of two copies to be presented to The National Library of Israel.
6.​ Photocopy and/or scanning costs and permission fees are to be paid to The National Library of Israel according to the rates it fixes. Rates
7.​ The National Library of Israel retains the right to display the digitized manuscript on its website six months after the scan has been made.
