Moshe Halbertal

Moshe Halbertal is the Gruss Professor of Law at NYU, John and Golda Cohen Professor of Jewish Philosophy at the Hebrew University, and a fellow at the Hartman Institute He is also the director of the Tikvah Center for Law and Jewish Civilization in New York. He has served as a visiting professor at the law schools of both Harvard and the University of Pennsylvania. 
 
He is the recipient of the Bruno Award of the Rothschild Foundation (1999) and the Goldstein-Goren award for the best recent book in Jewish thought (2001) for his book Between Torah and Wisdom (2000), one of his many publications.
