New enhanced search

On Sept. 1, 2012, the National Library introduced an enhanced author search format.  This new facility enables readers to retrieve all works by a particular author, in all languages, with one search command.

A search for a particular author, for example Sholem Aleykhem, will now retrieve results in all languages and scripts.

Clicking on the References link (see below) will provide a list of all variant spellings of an author's name.

Many authors have already been linked and the Library will continue to link records on an ongoing basis.
