Greater than the books: Women's Day tours at the NLI

A journey in the footsteps of special women featured the National Library of Israel's collections in honour of International Women's Day.

An ancient magical bowl which entraps the demon Lilith; the rare books of a scientist who converted her father's words and her paintings into a scientific milestone; the letters of the female mathematician who taught at a university, which forbade the entrance of women; and a selection of drafts and notes by the first Israeli female composer preserved in the National Sound Archive.
