Greater Than Fiction
Inventors, Witches, and Ministers
At the National Library, women are great year round - In honor of International Women's Day, we invite you on an especially feminine journey in the National Library's collections.
A journey with extraordinary meetings: The she-demon Lilith, trapped in an ancient magic bowl, the scientist who defied her father and whose drawings became cornerstones in sciences, the mathematician who taught at university when women were forbidden to step foot in it, and finally will solve the riddle of Naomi Shemer's song defending the rights of women in Israel.
