The course will take place on Sundays, July 3rd through August 7th, between 4:00 – 6:30 PM.
Location: National Library of Israel, Edmund Safra Campus, Hebrew University.
The 6-part course will cover the following topics:
• Identifying the geo-cultural types and graphic aspects of medieval Hebrew scripts
• Mapping the development of Hebrew scripts from its beginning through the 16th century
• Basic practical tools for identifying manuscripts through paleographic aspects
Note: The lectures of the course will be delivered in Hebrew.
